BUY GOOGLE STOCKS now!!

Hi all, I was reading an article today about google offering free wi-fi in the United States. WOW. that is crazy. So you would think why the heck would they give it away for free? Well it''s not that free they get to advertise to you based on your location. So if you are around Chicago and you are hungry you might find a good spot by going through your pop-ups or whatever they'll use to show you their ads.

They always to crazy things but this is the strongest so far. This is an awesome idea. This is the third time they got me,

  1. they bought keyhole
  2. google mail - show mails in conversation mode and only invite people
  3. free wi-fi and targeted advertising.

You are a genious google! Don't believe me read it

Bill Gates Webcasts at microsoft.com

I was poking around the microsoft site to see more demos on the new systems that are coming out man I love this new OS GUI. It looks very cool. This page has a lot of webcasts that are pretty good. http://www.microsoft.com/events/executives/billgates.mspx

I loved the move through windows with 3D images. And the new alt-tab shows the image of the window. Actually you could download that from the XP site as a power tool but this new one seems a lot faster. Maybe the demo PC had 4GB of ram but it was really fast moving through windows.

I also loved the new built-in features of word. It has a lot of pre built items that would take you hours to do if you were to do it with office 2003.

Oh and the new explorer man oh man, when you hit print preview, it actually shows you the whole page without cutting off the extra inch. I gotta tell ya they are listening to us more and more every day. I think they now know what is important, US! :)

Windows Vista UI

So the Beta is finally out! And I wonder how it looks like. So I download a copy from the MSDN site and try to install it. I tried the process 4 times with a Pentium 4 and 2 GB RAM laptop using virtual PC. Don't guess you're right it didn't work!

So I'm guessing that it was the virtual PC that gave me the problem. Anyway I just had to see the new UI and finally I remembered to go to the Vista site.

I was visiting the Microsoft Professional Developers Conference 2005 Virtual Pressroom and they have some nice pictures of the new Vista UI. And at last I now know how the UI looks like. After all of the trouble I went through I think it was worth it. I love what they have done with the UI. Right on!

The gallery has bunch of pictures of the new Vista, IE 7.0 and Office 12. Looking through the gallery I saw the games pictures and Chess got my attention. It looks awesome. I know Kamil, one of my dearest friends from Istanbul who is a chess lover, is going to love the new version of Windows.

I love the Windows Vista Chess images you gotta check it out. Here is the image link.

And here is the link to the image gallery on the PDC 2005 page.
